Leslie W. Nimmer, age 76, formerly of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, July 13, 1984 at Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, WI.
Leslie was born on November 23, 1907 in the Town of Sprinvale, WI, the son of Fred and Augusta (Wickman) Nimmer. On September 26, 1930 he married Dorothy Scribner in Rosendale, WI. She worked in car sales as well as being the owner/operator of Wildewood Haven Resort. She was a member of the Lions Club.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nimmer; a son, Donald of Mellen, WI; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry Nimmer of Waupun, WI, and a sister, Clara Hansen of Fond du Lac, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Leslie will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 15, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, WI.
Funeral services for Leslie will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 16, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Rev. Arlin Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale, WI.
