Lester Reinecke

Lester William Reinecke, age 87, of Ripon, died November 16, 1996, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
He was born June 2, 1909, in Chicago, a son to Walter and Freida (Stobe) Reinecke. After graduating from high school in Chicago, he worked at the Liberty National Bank in Chicago from 1937, until 1942, handling commercial and savings accounts. He entered the U.S. Army and served his country from 1942—1945. Lester was united in marriage on February 15, 1941 with Helen Leona Bauer, and she passed away on January 17, 1980 in Gunnison, CO. He later married Wilhelmine Bauer on April 4, 1981, and they have made their home in Ripon since 1982. Mr. Reinecke was a salesman for V.L. & A. Sporting Goods. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmine; 4 nephews, Thomas
Reinecke of Washington, DC, Kenneth Reinecke of Vicksburg,
MS, Laurance (Barbara) Reinecke of Lac du Flambeau, and
Walter (Marlene) Reinecke of Minden, NV; and 1 sister—in—law,
Eleanor Reinecke of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his
first wife, and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 20, 1996 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Reverend David Busker officiating. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gunnison County Cemetery, Gunnison, CO at a later date.
