Letha M. Ehrenberg, age 96, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Prairie Place.
Letha was born on October 14, 1918, in Pickett, WI, the daughter of Irwin and Rachel (LeRoy) Kloehn. Letha grew up in Pickett, WI, and graduated from Oshkosh High School. She married Ray C. Ehrenberg, June 3, 1939, in Ripon, WI. Letha and Ray were happily married for 52 years until his death in 1991. Letha was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening on their farms, especially the flowers. They traveled to Alaska, as it was one of their favorite places to visit. Letha was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid for many years. She also liked knitting, crocheting, and quilting.
Survivors include her children, Larry (Sally) Ehrenberg of Green Lake, WI, Sylvia (Gordon) Anderson of Ripon, WI, and Alan (Sandra) Ehrenberg of Oshkosh, WI; six grandchildren, Mike (Carol) Ehrenberg of Green Lake, WI, Nancy (Ray) Lemiesz and Pam (Fred) Krahn both of Ripon, WI, Mark (Lindsey) Anderson of Germantown, WI, Jeff Ehrenberg of W. Milwaukee, WI and Brian Ehrenberg of Deerfield Beach, FL; eight great-grandchildren, Chad (Jessica) Ehrenberg of Fond du Lac, WI, Megan Ehrenberg of Green Lake, WI, Melissa and Joshua Lemiesz both of Ripon, WI, Lexi and Julia Anderson both of Germantown, WI and Brad and Deanna Krahn both of Ripon, WI; one great-great grandchild, Owen, along with her nieces and nephews from Texas and Arkansas. Letha was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray, sister Beatrice (Otto) Leher, a sister in-law and her brother in-laws.
Visitation for Letha M. Ehrenberg will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Services for Letha M. Ehrenberg will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon. Pastor Dennis Meier will officiate. Interment will take place following services at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Township of Utica. Memorials can be donated to the Ladies Aid at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church or with St. Agnes Hospice Hope Foundation
