Letty Johnson, age 96, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Monday, June 4, 1990, at her home.
She was born July 15, 1893, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Jacob Brooks of Toronto, Canada and Elizabeth (Dalrymple) Brooks of Glasgow, Scotland. She married Elmer Johnson of Chicago and he preceded her in death August 8, 1972.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chicago and had resided on the South Shore of Green Lake since 1959.
Surviving are two sons, Donald B. of Green Lake and William E. of Madison; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband and her first son, Elmer.
Friends may call Tuesday, June 5, 1990, from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Funeral Services for Mrs. Johnson will be held Wednesday, June 6, 1990, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Dwight Bastian officiating. Interment will be Thursday, June 7, 1990, in Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago.
