Lewis Arthur Hyde, age 48, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Friday, May 16, 1952, at his home.
Lewis was born May 20, 1903, in the Town of Utica, WI, the son of George and Nellie (Smith) Hyde. He was educated in Pickett and graduated from Ripon High School. Lewis married Anita Rose Mahlke on March 26, 1927 in Pickett. He worked at the Wisconsin State Canners in Pickett until he became ill.
Survivors include his wife, Anita; one son, Leland and one daughter, Donna Mae all of Pickett; his mother, Mrs. George Hyde and a brother, James Hyde both of Ripon and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 18, 1952, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lewis will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 1952, at 2:00 pm at Scott Street Church with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Pickett Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
