Lidwina "Lid" Piernot

Lidwina “Lid” Veronica Piernot, age 93, of Green Lake, WI, formerly of Sauk Prairie, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Markesan Residence Home in Markesan, WI.
Lid was born March 11, 1918, in Roxbury, WI, the daughter of John Tobias and Melania Marie (Haas) Henn. In 1940, she married William G. Piernot Jr. Lid attended college at U.W. Madison and worked as a secretary for Sauk Prairie School District. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Sauk City and a life time member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City.
Survivors include four sons, Kurt (Jane) Piernot of Green Lake, WI, Craig (Carol) Piernot of West Minster, CO, Richard (Caryl Mae) Piernot of Newberry Park, CA and William (Bonnie Lou) Piernot of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Lid was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
