Lilas Parmelee Schram, age 87, Ripon, died Monday, January 26, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born July 18, 1910, in Ripon, the daughter of Franklin and Alice (All) Parmelee. She graduated from Ripon High School, and was married to
Kenneth G. Schram. Lilas was employed by the State of Michigan from 1952-1980. Since 1995, she has resided at Michalene’s in Ripon.
Survivors include nieces and nephew, Grace Leu of Ripon, Ruth Krogh of Racine, Edward (Karen) Steineke of Neshkoro and Susan Sankpill of Stilwell, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth G. Schram, sister Myrtle Steineke and brother Alfred Parmelee.
There will be no visitation or funeral service in Ripon. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leslie, Michigan at a later date.
