Lillian Bacon, age 62, of Fullerton, CA, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 1956, at her home.
Lillian was born January 14, 1894, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of William and Minnie (Leider) Zimmerman. She lived in Ripon all of her life except the last year in Fullerton. Lillian married Arnold Hammen on April 14, 1915 and after his passing, she married Jess Bacon on August 26, 1955. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Jess Bacon of Fullerton, CA; one son, Earl of Ripon; one daughter, mrs. Laurence Schiller of Rush Lake; two brothers, Arthur Zimmerman of Fisk and Carl Zimmerman of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Hielsberg of Ripon and Mrs. Fred Schroeder of Green Lake and four granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Hammen in 1946 and two sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday, September 30, 1956, after 9:00 am at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lillian will be held on Monday, October 1, 1956, at 1:30 pm at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
