Lillian M. Froberg, age 82, formerly of Newbury St., Ripon, currently of Michalenes in Ripon, died early Wednesday morning, March 13, 2002, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
She was born July 9, 1919, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Olaf and Netty (Nygaard) Hostad. She received her education in Minneapolis where she graduated from high school. On June 19, 1943, she married Robert I. Froberg, and they moved to Ripon in 1956. Lillian was active in the Red Cross, and from 1957 until 1990, kept the records for the Blood Bank. Twice she was an officer for the Ripon Womans Club. Mrs. Froberg was a past member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Froberg of Mequon. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Robert I. Froberg.
Funeral service for Lillian M. Froberg will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2002, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Rev. Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee where her late husband is buried.
