Lillian Gitzel

Mrs. Lillian Gitzel, age 63, of 811 Thomas St. in Ripon, died Saturday, April 8, 1989 at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 23, 1925, in New York, NY, to William and Helen Klaus Foster. On September 23, 1944, she married Leon Gitzel in Ripon.
Mrs. Gitzel was educated in New York. She had resided in Ripon for over 40 years and was employed in the Ripon Knitting Works.
Survivors include her husband, Leon; one daughter, Diane (James) Fidler of Horicon; two sons, Kenneth (Susan) and David (Jennifer) all of Ripon and one brother, Steven Foster of Phelps, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 1989, at 1:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with The Reverend Henry H. Graf of Menasha officiating. Interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
Friends may call Monday, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
