Lillian E. Huth, age 97, formerly of Ripon, died December 4, 2002, at Badger Prairie Health Care Center in Verona.
She was born May 13, 1905, in the Ripon area, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Scheer) Dahlke. On June 14, 1918, she married Frederick L. Huth at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. They were members of the Married Couples Club. During the war, she was employed at Speed Queen inspecting shells. She and her husband lived at 118 Griswold St. for 53 years. In later years she lived at Russell Manor and Green Lake Manor.
Survivors include 1 daughter-in-law, Dorothy Ann Huth of DeForest, WI; 1 grandson, Jeffrey W. Huth of CA; 1 granddaughter-in-law, June Huth Mello; 2 great-granddaughters, Hannah Leigh Huth Mello and Lauren Elizabeth Huth Mello, both of Middleton; 1 sister, Alice (John) Krystofiak of FL; and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 son, Myron F. Huth; 1 grandson, Dr. Joel Huth; 1 sister, Ella Dahlke; 4 brothers, Will, Lewis, Edward, and Walter Dahlke; 1 infant sister, Laura Dahlke.
Funeral service for Lillian E. Huth will be Monday, December 9, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon with Rev. Milton Staskal officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. Memorials in her name may be given to the National Alzheimer’s Research Center and the Salvation Army.
