Lillian G. Jensen, age 88, former Brandon resident for 20 years, died Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 2002, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born February 22, 1913, in Westfield, WI, the daughter of August and Wilhemina (Dahmore) Kietzmann. After graduating from Westfield High School, she received her teaching degree from Marian College in Fond du Lac and taught 1-8. On June 11, 1933, she married Dewayne O. Jensen, and they made their home in Fond du Lac prior to moving to Brandon. Mrs. Jensen was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses of Green Lake. Lillian loved gardening and flowers.
Survivors include 2 sons, DuWayune H. (Ruth A.) Jensen of Brandon and Dennis F. (Kathy) Jensen of Princeton; 5 Grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rose Hamm of Redgranite; and nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 brother; 1 sister; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside inurnment service for Lillian G. Jensen will be Saturday, February 2, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Rosendale Cemetery with Lee Washington as officiant. There will be no visitation but friends are welcome to attend the graveside service. A memorial has been established.
