Lillian Spychalla

Lillian May Spychalla, 86, formerly of Ripon, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Anna’s House at the Markesan Resident Home.

She was born June 15, 1911, in Abbottsford, a daughter to the late Walter and Bertha (Bond) Peterson. She received her education in Abbottsford. Lillian had lived in Ripon most of her life, and was a seamstress at Fox River Glove. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.

She is survived by I son, Canton (Judy) Stobb of Waupun and I daughter, Arlene Thiem of Ripon; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and I sister, Ruth Schaetzka of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Carl Stobb, her 2nd husband, Arthur Marwitz and Edward Spychalla her 3rd husband, along with I grandson, Mark Thiem, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral service will be Thursday, March 19, 1998, at 11:00 AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Pastor Paul Holte officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given in her name to Anna’s House, Markesan Resident Home.
