Lilly Theodora Sauer, age 82, formerly of Ripon, passed away Thursday morning, February 10, 2005, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan.
She was born December 30, 1922, in Richford, daughter of Walter and Lena (Harke) Kapp. On June 20, 1942, she married Lloyd E. Sauer at St Peters Lutheran Church in Richford. Lilly was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, and former Sunday School teacher, member of the Womens Guild, Married Couples Club, and Homemakers.
Survivors include her son, Ronald (Kathy) Sauer of Neenah; daughters, Alice (Tom) Sina of Ripon and Judy (Jim) Machkovich of Markesan; grandchildren, Christine (Larry) Scott, Scott (Carol) Sina, Forrest (Holly) Sauer, Kelly Dallman, and Tim, Dominic, Joshua & Adam Machkovich; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Taylor, Scott & Tyler Sina, Jaeryn Smith, Caelyn & Graesyn Dallman, Codey, Tyler & Hunter Sauer; and 1 sister, Myrna (Keith) Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985, parents, 3 brothers, Edwin, Wilfred & Elmer Kapp, granddaughter Roseanne Sina and grandson, Christopher Sauer.
Funeral service for Lilly T. Sauer will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at Our Saviours United Church of Christ, Ripon with Rev. Jerry Schrankler officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
