Linda Evelyn Brehmer, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Markesan Residence Home in Markesan with her family by her side.
Linda was born March 25, 1924, in Athens, WI, the daughter of Gerhardt and Hattie (Hardt) Boelter. She attended Bay View High School in Milwaukee, WI. On August 21, 1965, Linda married Clarence Brehmer in Milwaukee. She worked as a general laborer for various factories. Linda enjoyed trips to the casino, knitting and crocheting for the family and fishing.
Survivors include one son, Larry (Jacque) Reschke of Hustisford, WI; two daughters, Karen (Curt) Franke of Markesan, WI and Shelby Reschke of Green Lake, WI; six grandchildren, Cathy (Karl) Rens, Julie (Steve) Seitz, Kenneth Schwark, Jennifer Schwark, Jonathan Schwark and Terry Reschke; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Evie) Boelter; one sister, Verna Behrendt; one sister-in-law, Vi Boelter and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Richard Reschke; one brother, Gordon Boelter and one brother-in-law, Carl Behrendt.
Visitation for Linda Brehmer will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Linda Brehmer will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor John Tilstra will officiate. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, Midwest Division, N19W24350 Riverwood Dr. Waukesha, WI 53188 or American Heart Association, 660 E. Mason St. Suite 200 Milwaukee, WI 53202.
