Lloyd L. Keipe, age 85, of N5798 Cty Hwy A., passed away Sunday, January 04, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh.
Lloyd was born May 30, 1918 in Green Lake, a son of Albert and Julianna (Fude) Keipe. He was educated in Green Lake and served his country during WWII in the U.S. Air Force, serving for 4 years, 4 months and 10 days. He married Shirley Weiske in Princeton, in March of 1948. He was employed as a Green Lake County Hwy Dept. truck driver for 23 years. Lloyd loved life and especially his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting very much.
Survivors include; a daughter, Mary (Tom) Spanbauer of Oshkosh; a son, Mike Keipe of Green Lake; Granddaughters, Shelly (Jack) Farvour Jr. of Oshkosh, Heather (Dave) Steger of Berlin, Tracy (Josh) Haehl of Pickett; Great-grandchildren, Jack III and Juliana Farvour, Amanda, Taylor, Cole Steger and Gavin and Carter Haehl; Three brothers, Ferd Keipe, Harvey (Mary Lou) Keipe and Victor (Oni) Keipe. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Janurary 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Pastor J. Douglas Hanback will officiate. Interment will be at Dartford Cemetery, City of Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
