Lloyd Emil Sauer, age 63, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Lloyd was born December 22, 1921, in Waupun, WI, the son of Herman and Nellie (Gleffe) Sauer. On June 20, 1942, he married Lilly Kapp in Richford. Lloyd worked as a farmer until 1972 and then worked for the City of Ripon as a Sanitary Engineer. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon and the Married Couples Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lilly; mother, Nellie of Ripon, WI; one son, Ronald of Neenah, WI; two daughters, Alice (Thomas) Sina of Ripon, WI and Judy (James) Machkovich of Markesan, WI; eight grandchildren, two brothers, Herman, Jr. of Ripon, WI and Robert of Neshkoro, WI; three sisters, Merle Olson of Fond du Lac, WI, Estella Mugridge and Mary Hare of Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation for Lloyd will be held on Monday, September 30, 1985, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lloyd will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 1985, at 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
