Lois Elliott, age 78, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Bethel Lutheran Home in Oshkosh.
Lois was born in Oshkosh, on July 14, 1933, the daughter of Clarence and Elva (Curtis) Leeman. She attended Oshkosh schools, and later worked at Braun’s Family Restaurant in Ripon for 30 years. Lois was a member of the First Congregational Church, UCC in Ripon. On October 31, 1959, she married Bernard Elliott in Oshkosh.
Survivors include one sister, Jeanine Golz of Fredericksburg, VA; three brothers, Harry (Margaret) Leeman of Waukesha, Ronald (Jeanette) Leeman of Oshkosh, and Leland (Darleen) Leeman of Sugar Creek, MO; and several nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on July 2, 2002.
Visitation for Lois Elliott will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Lois Elliott will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Reverend Greg Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosendale Cemetery, in the Village of Rosendale. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, Southeast WI, 620 South 76th Street, Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214, in her name.
