Lois Jean Jankowski, age 86, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan.
Lois was born June 4, 1929, in Princeton, the daughter of Felix and Helen (Kuharski) Kallas. She graduated from Princeton High School. Lois worked in the following Princeton businesses: Millers cigar factory, Princeton Theatre, owned Lo Anns Apparel Shop, Yahrs grocery store, and served as the city treasurer for over 30 years and was the Senior Transportation Coordinator for over 30 years.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) Malson of Howard and Anthony (fiancé Kyle) Northcott of Princeton; son-in-law Gary Northcott of Princeton, WI; 2 brothers, Roger (Elaine) Kallas of Princeton and Michael (Ginger) Kallas of Princeton, WI; special friends, Bernice Lewis, Betty Wegner, Sharon Rivers and Claris Otto, all of Princeton, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Antoniette Northcott; sister and brother-in-law Don and Helen Mae Frost and her good friend, Tom Wielgosh.
Visitation for Lois Jankowski will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from 9:00 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main Street, in Princeton.
A memorial mass will take place on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. Reverend Dale Grubba will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Princeton. A memorial is being established.
