Lois Klapperich

Lois Ann Klapperich, age 79, of Ripon, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI.

Lois was born on October 1, 1930, in La Crosse, WI, the daughter of Edward and Lois (Adkins) Saphner. She graduated from Rosendale High School. In 1952, Lois married Lyle Klapperich at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale, WI. Lois worked in the office at Ripon Family Care. She also worked as the lead artist and an office manager at Naylor Toy Factory in Ripon. She was a member at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Rogersville, WI. Lois painted nature scenes, was an avid race fan of cars and motorcycles, and crocheted baby sweaters for the church mission projects. She enjoyed spending time with her family as they were very important to her.

Survivors include three sons, Mark (Debi) Klapperich of Limon, CO, Kris (Diana) Klapperich of Ripon, WI, and Alan (Peggy) Klapperich of Ripon, WI; two grandchildren, Melissa (Jose’ Quinones) Klapperich of Denver, CO and Amanda (Tyler) Dean of Limon, CO; three step-grandchildren, Tiffany Yost of Fond du Lac, WI, Dawn Yost of Redgranite, WI and Stephanie Yost of Ripon, WI. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; Lyle Klapperich passed away November 29, 1971; grandson, Patrick Klapperich passed away on August 25, 1983; and her sister, Rita Gauger.

Visitation for Lois Klapperich will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010, from 10 a.m. – 12:00 noon at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, N5680 Towne Rd. Rosendale, WI 54974.

Memorial Service for Lois Klapperich will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 12:00 noon at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Rosendale. Reverend Kimberly Stowell will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, N5680 Towne Rd. Rosendale, WI 54974, and Agnesian Hospice Hope, 745 South St. Green Lake, WI 54941.
