Lois A. Siska, age 82, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at her home at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.
She was born on October 10, 1929, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Ruth (Houlding) Rogers. Lois graduated from high school and became employed at the College of Du Page as a Registrar. She also was a homemaker and a real estate agent in her early years. Lois played professional baseball in the 1940’s which was one of her many talents in life.
Survivors include her daughter, Claudia (Steven) Andersen of Zephyr Cove, NV; son, Craig
(Linda McKinnis) Siska of Rockbridge Baths, VA; one grandchild, Meggan (Chris Saylor) Siska and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Dean and Londyn Saylor all of Saginaw, TX. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Gertrude Thoman, Mary Ellen Kilburn and Elaine Dusek.
Per Lois’s wishes there will be no services. Memorials may be given to Hospice Advantage, 79 North Pioneer Rd., Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
