Lois Gay Steiner, age 72, formerly of Ripon, died August 1, 2003, at her residence on N. Port Washington Rd in Bayside.
She was born April 25, 1931, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Ralph and Eleanor (Voss) White. She was a 1953 graduate of Ripon College. On December 21, 1953, she married Carl William Steiner in Milwaukee. Gay had lived in Ripon over 40 years and had been a homemaker. Gay was an avid golfer.
Survivors include her son, Steven Steiner of Fond du Lac; daughter, Carla (Adrian) Cohen of Whitefish Bay; and grandchildren, Adam and Michaela Cohen. She was preceded in death by parents; and husband Carl on November 13, 1991.
Funeral service for will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2003, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, with Rev. David A. Busker officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials may be given in her name to Ripon College or the Wisconsin Humane Society.
