Lois Voeltner

June 23, 1925 — January 29, 2001

Lois June Voeltner, age 75, of Ripon, died Monday morning, January 29, 2001, at Ripon Medical Center.

She was born June 23, 1925, in Waupun, a daughter to Henry and Laura (Krey) Sommerfeld. Lois attended Ripon PubLic Schools and graduated from Moraine Technical College with a degree in Medical Secretarial Science and Transcription, and was self.employed in many area medical facilities. On May 11, 1946, she married Clarence W. Voeltner, and he preceded her in death on December 6, 1995. Lois was a member ot Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ and a life.member of the Ripon Hospital Association. She also belonged to the Green Lake American Legion Post #306, Ripon V.F.W. Post #5278, and the Ripon and Green Lake Senior Citizens.

Survivors include 2 sons, Rick (Judy) Voeltner of Ripon and Dan (Kathleen) Voeltner of Watertown; 5 grandchildren; Terri (Cory) Pollesch of Ripon and Kelly (Jennifer) Voeltner of Ripon, and Seth, Andy and Lindy Voeltner of Watertown and 4 great-grandchiIdren; Alexis, Mia, Tanner and MacKenzie of Ripon. She is further survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Margaret (William) Hielke of Ripon and Maxine (Russel) Reinke of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother, Eugene.

Private visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2001, at the
Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, followed by a private graveside service at Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. The Reverend Terry Fulks of Alliance Bible Church, Oconomowoc will officiate. Memorials in her name to the Bluffton Cemetery Association.
