Loraine Sina

Loraine Sina, 90, of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at her son’s home, with her family at her side.

Loraine was born on October 14, 1920, in Itasca, IL, the daughter of Henry and Philomena (Wagner) Heinle. She graduated from Elkhorn High School. On June 10th, 1941 she married Edward James Sina. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, and the St. Catherine of Siena Altar and Rosary Sodality.

Survivors include her four sons, Daniel (Sharon K.) Sina of Ripon, John (Sharon A.) Sina of Brandon, Ronald (Connie) Sina of Ripon, and Kenneth (Holly) Sina of Watertown; one daughter, Dorothy (Thomas) Soda of Ripon, 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one twin sister, Louise Bouton of Janesville; and two brothers, Ralph (Caroline) Heinle of Boscobel, and Henry (special friend Mary) Heinle of Janesville and Florida. Loraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward on February 13, 1988, one son Joseph; one granddaughter, Michele Sina; and her brother Edward Heinle.

Visitation for Loraine Sina will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011, from 9-11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac Street, Ripon, WI 54971.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Reverend Robert A. Fictum officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established.
