Loren Feakes

Loren Feakes, age 76, of Wautoma, formerly of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, FL. He had been vacationing in the area with his family.

Loren was born September 13, 1933 in Mt. Hope, WI, the son of William and Wilma (Abraham) Feakes. He graduated from Patch Grove High School in 1951. Loren married Shirley Willis of Muscoda on October 11, 1952. She preceded him in death on February 10, 1997. He later married Shirley (Fietz) Kamedulski on August 11, 2001 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Princeton. Loren had been a cheese maker and worked at Speed Queen in Ripon. Loren liked to fish, hunt, golf, downhill ski, go to casinos, travel and play cards. He was past president of several PTA clubs, the Eagles Club, the Wood, Water and Wildlife Conservation Club, Alliance Laundry Retirees Club and vice president of Alliance Laundry Golf League.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; two sons, Doug of Madison and Dale (Judy) of Oshkosh; a daughter, Sheryl (Doug) Keator of Oshkosh; stepdaughter, Anna Kamedulski (Ken Klescewski) of Danville, CA; two brothers, Lloyd (Pat) of Bellville, TX and Darrel (Rachael) of Franklin; grandchildren, Stephanie and Sara Feakes, Nicholas and Katherine Keator; step-granchildren, Ben Kamedulski, Carina Klescewski and Tonia (Brandon) Zellmer; step-great-grandchildren, Madison and Daniel Zellmer and Tyler Kamedulski. Loren was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nelda Jean Ranson; step-son, Doug Kamedulski and step-great-grandson, Ian Kamedulski.

Visitation for Loren Feakes will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010, from 2:30 – 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial Service for Loren Feakes will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Time of Gathering will follow at the Union Hall-Local 1327, 443 Scott St. Ripon, WI 54971,
