Loren D. Nellis, age 42, of Green Lake, WI passed away unexpectedly and suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage at his home.
Loren was born in Ripon, WI on January 23, 1914, the son of Roy and Ida (Nehls) Nellis. He was educated in Ripon and on November 12, 1939 he married Vivian Zamzow at Berlin, WI. He was the owner of Nellis Limestone Quarry in Ripon, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Ripon Rotary International.
Loren is survived by his wife, Vivian Nellis; a daughter, Bonnie; a son, Daniel all of Green Lake, WI; his parents, Roy and Ida Nellis of Ripon, WI; a brother, Lyman of Milwaukee; and one sister, Mrs. Arthur McKeith of Ripon, WI.
Visitation for Loren will be held from 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 1956 until 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 14, 1956 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Loren will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 14, 1956 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Douglas O. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
