Lorena Neuenfeldt

Lorena M. Neuenfeldt, age 97, of W12330 CTY KK, Ripon, passed away December 9th 2006, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Lorena was born on August 14th 1909 in Borth WI, the daughter of Otto and Eva (Peck) Swick. Lorena completed 12 years of education in the Berlin schools and on June 11th 1930 married Ernst F. Neuenfeldt in Berlin WI. Lorena was a chef for Pin Bowl, Republican House, Tuscumbia Golf Club and Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. Lorena was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, and taught Sunday school there, and was a Ladies Aid member there for many years. Lorena belonged to the Willow Lane Homemakers Club. She was a Springvalley 4-H leader. She belonged to the Golden Slippers Square Dance Club.
Survivors include two sons: Frederick (Linda) Neuenfeldt of Ripon, and Ernst Ray (Ida) Neuenfeldt of Ripon. Three daughters: Marjorie Lind of Berlin, Carol Wilcox of Oshkosh, and Dorothy Norris of Yuma Arizona. Seventeen grandchildren, thirty two great- grandchildren and three great -great grandchildren. Two sisters: Dorothy Dunahee of Freedom, and Edith Londowski of Ripon. Two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Christison of Wisconsin: Bernadyne Swick of Oregon, and many nieces and nephews. Lorena was preceded in death by her husband Ernst F. Neuenfeldt, her parents, and one grandson Mark Sommers, two brothers: Earl Swick and Leon Swick, sister–in-Law Lucille Swick, son-in-law George Lind, and two brother-in-laws: Don Christison and Frank Londowski.
Visitation for Lorena Neuenfeldt will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lorena Neuenfeldt will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend Maurice A. Schaus officiating. Interment will take place in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial has been established.
