Lorrain E. Potter, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on August 21, 1984, at his home.
Lorrain was born March 25, 1912, in the Town of Ripon, WI, the son of Frank and Mary (Bresenhan) Potter. He served our country in the United States Army during WWII. Lorrain married Charlotte Bonnell on August 14, 1943. He retired from the service department at Speed Queen in Ripon and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include one brother, Everett Potter in Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte on April 12, 1973.
Visitation for Lorrain will be held on Thursday, August 23, 1984, from 7 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Rosary at 8:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 24, 1984, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Reverend John Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow at Loper Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
