Lorraine K. Bilderback, age 86, of Ripon, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
Lorraine was born in Ripon on December 7, 1922, the daughter of Emil and Leona (Pollesch) Krueger. She graduated from Ripon High School and went on to be the secretary to the manager of the USDA in Ripon. On January 27, 1944, she married Emmons LaVerne Bilderback at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Lorraine was a member of Our Saviour’s U.C.C. and was a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and was on the Mission Board.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret (Henry) Wendt of Ripon; one son, Thomas (Pat) Bilderback of Berlin; four grandchildren, Griffin Wendt; Megan (Chad) Mann and their son, Ethan (great-grandson); Casey (special friend, Danielle) Wendt; Ryan (fiancée, Tyra) Wendt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one grandson, William “Bud”; one sister, Charleen Borchert and one brother, Frederick Krueger.
Visitation for Lorraine K. Bilderback will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Lorraine K. Bilderback will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with The Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials can be given to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon.
