Lorraine M. Gransee, age 88, of Ripon, WI, died Wednesday, December 15, 1999, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born August 30, 1911, in Lamartine, the daughter of John and Mary (Scherer) Gneiser. Lorraine attended St. Peters Lutheran School, Winnebago Lutheran Academy and Fountain City Business College. On August 30, 1930, she married Gilbert E. Gransee at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon for many years, Lorraine worked in the food service at Ripon Public Schools.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Ron) Keller of Ripon; son, John (Cheryl) Gransee of Mercer; three grandchildren, Jeff (Pam) Keller of Berlin, Ben and Sam Gransee of Mercer; three great-granddaughters, Lexi, Madie and Tori Keller of Berlin; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gib on July 6, 1985, two brothers, Harry and Rudy Gneiser, and a sister, Leone Vetter-Zimmerman.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 18, 1999, at 3 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with Reverend Jonathan Stansfield officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rosendale Cemetery in Rosendale.
