Lorraine Rita Hammen, 83, of Ripon, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at her home.
Lorraine was born April 28, 1924 the daughter of Felix and Frances (Mashock) Mlodzik in Princeton, WI. She graduated from Princeton High School and worked as a homemaker. She married Martin Marty Hammen on September 9, 1950. Lorraine was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (Blossom St.), the Ripon Womens Club, and various Bridge clubs in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Marty Hammen; four sons, Gary (Mary) Hammen of Black Creek, along with their children, Hilary, Kyle, and Avry; Randy Hammen of Princeton; Peter (Penny) Hammen of West Bend, and their children, Kelsey, Katie, Macy; and Paul Hammen of Ripon. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Benjamin; and one sister, Amy Biggot. Other survivors include one brother-in-law, Orice (Mary) Hammen; two sister-in-laws, Phyllis Mlodzik and Marjorie Mlodzik and many nieces and nephews. And special friends Lucy Tiry, and Patricia Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Janet Hammen; 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
Visitation for Lorraine Hammen will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 4:00- 7:00PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 10:30 until the time of the service at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St. St. in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Lorraine Hammen will be held on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 11:00AM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St. in Ripon, with Reverend Robert A. Fictum and Father John A. Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A Memorial has been established.
