Lorraine Edith Hansen, age 92, of Pickett, WI, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Lorraine was born October 16, 1919, in Pickett, the daughter of Fred and Leona (Tetzlaff) Kaiser. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and married Eugene V. Hanson in 1940. Lorraine was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat (Dennis) Schaetzka, of Pickett, WI, Sharon (Gary) Youell/Daubet of Winnipeg-Manitoba, Canada; granddaughters, Karen (Don) Toney, of Berlin, WI, Sandra (Jeff) Rogge of Oshkosh, Denise (Brett Christie) Youell, of Winnipeg-Manitoba, Canada; grandson, Steven Schaetzka of Brandon, WI; 8 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Eugene (Bud) Hansen, her parents; Leona and Fred Kaiser and sister, Dorothy Anklam.
Visitation for Lorraine Hansen will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012, from 10:00 -11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 502 County Rd. M, in Pickett, WI 54964.
Funeral service for Lorraine Hansen will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett. Reverend Judd Krohn will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the town of Utica. A memorial is being established.
