Lorraine “Andy” Hughes, 83, of W11590 Center Rd, Ripon, died June 25, 2003, at Ripon Medical Center.
She was born February 21, 1920, in Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of Evard H. and Lillian (Millett) Anderson. After graduating from high school, she attended college in Illinois. On December 14, 1946, she married William Douglas Hughes in Cincinnati, OH. They lived in Hot Springs, AR prior to moving to the Ripon area 2-1/2 years ago.
Survivors include her husband William D. “Doug” of Ripon; daughter, Laura (Tracy) Swayze of Ripon; and grandson, Benjamin Jay Swayze of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2003, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ripon with Rev. Kenneth Guy officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment in the Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale.
