Lorraine Krause, age 77, of 504 Russell Dr. Ripon, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at her home.
Lorraine was born on July 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Roy and Dora Bazeley. Lorraine joined Roy Krause in holy matrimony on October 14, 2005. She belonged to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years. She belonged to Women’s Guild for 3 years and also a member of the Altar Guild. Lorraine worked 34 years for Ripon Foods. After her retirement she loved doing crafts. She also was a collector, collecting Precious Moments and yesterday child figurines, dolls and crystal. She loved Christmas; she had 10 Christmas trees which many people enjoyed, but as years went on she was no longer able too.
Survivors include her husband Roy; son, DuWayne (Sheryl) Klatt; 3 grandchildren, Jonathan (Sandy), Jennifer and Clifford Klatt all of Massachusetts; stepson, Dennis Krause (Linda Bauer); brother, Donald (Alice) Bazeley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, late husband, Clifford Klatt and her God Child Larry Bazeley.
Visitation for Lorraine Krause will be held on Friday, December 22, 2006 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home and again on Saturday, December 23, 2006 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lorraine Krause will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. A memorial has been established.
