Lorraine "Toni" Viertel

Lorraine “Toni” J. Viertel, age 72, of 248 Center St. Berlin, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at Juliette Manor in Berlin.
Lorraine was born on October 22, 1933, in Berlin, the daughter of Herman and Hilda (Abel) Viertel. She graduated from Berlin High School. Toni worked at Ripon Foods for 50 years.
Survivors include son, Scott Viertel of Richmond, CA; 2 sisters, Irene (Richard) Thormahlen of Hot Springs Vaillage, AR and Marion (Robert) Ryan of Berlin; sister-in-law, Pat Viertel of Berlin, nieces and nephews, Victoria (Bob) Kamrath of Portage, Dan Viertel of Berlin, Matthew (Lynda) Viertel of Flower Mound, TX, Anissa (Kevin) Tollakson of Redgranite, WI, Beth Bartol of Brule, WI, Julie Ryan of Oshkosh, Rick (Mary Jo) Thormahlen of Camas, WA and Gail (John) Hobza of Bacaville, CA. She is further survived by many close friends and relatives. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold “Bud” Viertel.
A Memorial Service will be held for Lorraine Viertel on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at 4:00 pm at the Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin with Mr. Dan Viertel officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 pm at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
