Lorraine Teenie M. Witkowski, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on February 15, 2012, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Teenie was born January 16, 1935, in Ripon, the daughter of Felix and Cecelia (Schneckenberg) Witkowski. She graduated from Ripon High School and was employed by Admanco for many years as a stitcher. Teenie was an active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and dearly noted as Sister Lorraine.
Teenie enjoyed many crafts, knitting, shopping and going to flea markets. She was an avid Vikings fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include brothers, Donald Witkowski of Marshall, WI, Florian Andy (Darlene) Witkowski of Ripon, WI, Michael (Donna) Levenhagen of Ripon, WI, and sisters, Florence Hock, (special friend Tony) of Geneseo, IL, Twin sister Louise Lou Hopp of Ripon, WI, and sister-in-law, Betty Witkowski, of Neenah, WI. There are also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bernard and his twin sister, Beatrice (Raymond) Chikowski, her sister-in-law, Renee Witkowski, brothers-in-law; Arnold Bier, Ed Hock, and Jim Hopp, and one nephew, Danny Witkowski.
Visitation for Lorraine Witkowski will be held Friday February 17, 2012, from 4-7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI and again on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 9-10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine Witkowski will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 10:30 am, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum and Father William Whalen will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorial is being established.
