Louis J. Formiller, 64, of Brandon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital in Madison.
Louis was born on July 27, 1943, in Ripon, the son of Florian and Reemona (Krenn) Formiller. Louis attended high school in Omro, was very proud to serve his country in the U.S. Marines, and was a Life Member of the VFW. He married Marsha Manthie, and he worked as a prison guard in Waupun. Louis had a passion for NASCAR racing.
Survivors include his mother, Reemona Krenn of Winnecone, his wife, Marsha Formiller of Brandon, his children, Jeanette (Casper) Oliviera of Oshkosh, Jeff Ellman of Oshkosh, Jacquie (Chad) Pluim of Brandon, Michael Formiller of Oshkosh, Jeremy (Amanda) Formiller of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother Michael (Teresa) Formiller of Winneconne, one sister, Sandy (Steve) Gollnick of Oshkosh, one niece and one nephew. Louis was preceded in death by his father, Florian.
Visitation for Louis J. Formiller will be held from 3 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A graveside service for Louis J. Formiller will be held at 10:00 am, on Monday, June 9, 2008 at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, with Fr. Dale W. Grubba officiating. Memorials can be given to American Diabetes Assn. Milwaukee Office, 2323 N. Mayfair Rd. Suite 502, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
