Louis Fromholtz

Louis A. Fromholtz, age 73, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 1955, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Zweiger on the South shore of Green Lake.

Louis was born April 28, 1881, in Coloma, WI, the son of Mike Fromholtz. On November 3, 1909, he married Blanca Uhl in Ripon. Louis retired as owner of the Bon Ton Tavern in Ripon in 1940.

Survivors include his wife, Blanca; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Miller of Montello and Mrs. Lawrence Zweiger of Green Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Abler of Beaver Dam and Miss Sophia Fromholtz of Madison. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Friends may call on Friday, January 7, 1955, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.

Mass of Christian Burial for Louis will be held on Saturday, January 8, 1955, at 9:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with The Reverend Clarence Schouton officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
