Louis Raymond Schmude, Sr. age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at his home in Ripon.
He was born on September 27, 1941, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Walter and Dorothy (Mueller) Schmude. Louis attended Oshkosh High School and in 1959, he married Virginia Rose Vetrone in Illinois.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Lisa (Lindy) Zimmerman of Berlin, WI and Michele (Richard) Blachowiak Jr. of Berlin, WI; three sons, Scott (Laurie) Schmude Sr. of Berlin, WI, Randolph (Kelly) Schmude of Ripon, WI and Corey Schmude of Berlin; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Schmude of Oshkosh, WI; three brothers, Laverne, Walter Jr. and Leo (Shirley) Schmude all of Oshkosh, WI; two sisters, Lorraine (Anthony) Zepczyk of California and Louise Schmude of Oshkosh, WI and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Louis was preceded in death by his father, Walter and son, Louis Raymond Schmude, Jr.
Visitation for Louis Schmude will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, from 9 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for Louis Schmude will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Pastor Mike Holba will officiate. A memorial is being established in his name.
