Louis Edward Sharp, age 93, of Ripon, died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Ripon Medical Center.
Louis was born January 21, 1907, in the village of Roselaun, Wisconsin, a son to Jacob William and Sarah (Keyser) Sharp. He received his education in Appleton and Greenwood, Wisconsin. In 1934 he married Wilma Kinas in Ripon. Wilma passed away in 1964. He married Leona Hildebrandt on May 15, 1965, in Ripon. Louis served his country in the Wisconsin National Guard and the United States Navy. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon, and was employed as a mechanical engineer at Ripon Foods for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife Leona, Four sons; Thomas (Jeanne) Sharp, of Ripon, David (Bonnie) Sharp, Ripon, Samuel (Janice) Sharp, Minneapolis, MN, and Alan (Susan) Sharp, of Denver, CO. and one step-daughter, Beverly (Gene) Doyle, of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife Wilma. In accordance with Louiss wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
