Louise "Lou" Hopp

Louise “Lou” Mary Hopp, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at her home with loving family by her side.
Lou was born on January 16, 1935, in Ripon the daughter of Cecelia (Schneckenberg) Levenhagen. She graduated from Ripon High School. Lou married James Edward Hopp, in 1955, at St. Wenceslaus Church in Ripon. She worked at Alliance Laundry in the Service Department. Lou was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include sons, Steve (Sarah) Hopp of Ripon,WI, Ronald (Tamie) Hopp of Black Hawk, SD; daughter, Patricia (Mark) Ingram of Ripon, WI; eight grandchildren, Amber (Matt) Kaupe, Jordan (Billy Koepsel) Hall, Joshua Hopp, Sierra Hopp, Nathan (Emilie) Miller, Jerrica (Seth) Katzur, Garret Miller, Kaitlin (Clint Stertz) Miller; Eight great-grandchildren; brother, Michael (Donna) Levenhagen of Ripon, WI; sister-in-law, Darlene Witkowski of Ripon, WI; brothers-in-law, Robert Hopp of Fond du Lac, WI, Gerald (Nancy) Hopp of Green Bay, WI, and Donald (Patti) Hopp of Darboy, WI; and several nieces and nephews. Lou is preceded in death by her mother, Cecelia; husband, James; siblings, Donald (Renee) Witkowski, Bernard (Betty) Witkowski, Beatrice (Raymond) Chikowski, Florian “Andy” Witkowski, Florence Hock, twin sister, Lorraine “Teenie” Witkowski; two sisters-in-law, Helen (Dick) Klien and Jeanne Hopp.
Visitation for Lou will held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, from 4-7:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, 54971 and again on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 9:30-10:30 am, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 Blossom Street, Ripon, WI, 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Lou will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at 10:30 am, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Ripon, with Reverend Robert A. Fictum officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope, 745 South Street, Green Lake, WI 54941.
