Lowell "Leggs" Loberg
April 26, 1927 — July 11, 1992
Lowell “Leggs” Loberg, age 65, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 1992, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 26, 1927, in Amherst to Johan and Luella (Johnson) Loberg. For many years, since the 1950’s he was acted as fishing guide in the Green Lake area.
He is survived by two sons, Paul (Patty) of Green Lake, and John (Sue) of Green Lake; two daughters, Margaret (Carl) VorderBruegge of Old Greenwich, CT and Catherine (Todd) Theiler of Janesville; ten grandchildren; one brother, Merlin of Oshkosh; and one sister, Lynette Emery of Wisconsin Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, the former Marlys Reed.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 1992, at the Butzin- Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Services for Lowell Loberg will be held Tuesday, July 14, 1992, at 2:00 p.m. at the graceside at South New Hope Cemetery in Nelsonville, WI. A memorial has been established.
