Lowell Pommering

Lowell Pommering, age 90, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, August 04, 2009, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, WI.
Lowell was born on April 24, 1919, in the Town of Springvale, the son of Louis and Anna (Fude) Pommering. On December 1, 1951, Lowell married Ruth Lawrence. He owned his own farm and also worked for the Town of Springvale for over 35 years, snow plowing and road maintenance. Lowell also did custom farm work for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one brother, Charles (Rose) Pommering of Ripon; two sisters, Lorraine Lee and Arlene Roskos, both of Ripon; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved black lab, Jake. Lowell is preceded in death by his parents and his son, John Lowell Pommering in 2003.
Visitation for Lowell Pommering will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lowell Pommering will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Jeff Casper will officiate. Interment will be held on Friday, August 7, 2009, at 10:00 am, at Bethel Reeds Corner Cemetery in the Town of Metomen. A memorial has been established in his name.
