Lucille Katherine Ameely, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 1986, at her home.
Lucille was born August 28, 1908, in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of Herman and Laura (Sievert) Busse. She was graduated from Green Lake High School and went on to further her education at UW-Madison. Lucille worked as a teacher in the Panama Canal Zone teaching elementary education and then worked as a Librarian in Green Lake. On November 11, 1967, she married Edward Decker Ameely. Lucille was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake; Green Lake Business and Professional Women, Dartford Historical Society and Isaac Walton League.
Survivors include one daughter, Laurel Nisler of Stoughton; four step-grandchildren and one brother, Karl Busse of Warren, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband in October of 1966 and one step-daughter.
Visitation for Lucille will be held on Friday, November 21, 1986, from 5 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Lucille will be held on Saturday, November 22, 1986, at 11:00 am, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake with Reverend Leo Joyce officiating. Interment will be held at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
