Mrs. Lucille Gibson, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Lucille was born on February 4, 1910, in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of George and Harriet (Rector) Hutchinson. She attended school in Ripon, and went on to become a receptionist at Ripon Laundry for 40 years. On November 7, 1935, she married Homer Gibson in Freeport, IL.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Homer; a son Eugene (Jess) of Ripon; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a brother Ira Hutchinson of Ripon. She is preceded in death by a son; two brothers; and two sisters.
A visitation for Lucille will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 1988, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
A funeral service for Lucille will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 1988, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Robert LeCount officiating. Interment will take place at Reeds Corner Cemetery, Town of Metomen. A memorial has been established in her name.
