Lucille Mcconnell

Lucille A. McConnell, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on May 7, 1984 at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.

Lucille was born on March 28, 1899 in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of Edward and Lena (Fordham) Anderson. She graduated from Green Lake High School and went on to graduate from Ripon College, Class of 1920. In 1924 she married William McConnell who passed away in 1936. She has lived in the Green Lake area all her life. Lucille was a chemistry instructor at Ripon College from 1921-1923 as well as a farmer in Green Lake.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Roanne (Al) Klaver of Green Lake, Wi; a son, Jon McConnell also of Green Lake, WI; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McConnell; three sons; a sister and a brother.

Funeral service for Lucille will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 9, 1984 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Leo Joyce officiating. Interment will follow at Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn, WI.
