Lucy J. Zank, 82, of Ripon, died May 4, 1994, at Miller Home Care, Ripon.
Lucy was born on February 8, 1912, in Pickett, a daughter to the late Samuel O. and Lucy Jane (Leland) Hammond. On May 17, 1933, she married Wesley Zank and they farmed in the Town of Ripon. Lucy was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, Friendship Circle of Immanuel, Royal Neighbors, Rosendale Center Homemakers and the Ripon Women’s Club.
Survivors include her husband, Wesley of Parkview Care Center, Ripon. one son, Leland (Brenda) Zank of Van Dyne; one daughter, Betty Jane (Todd) Berens of Santa Anna, CA; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Stephen Hammond of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, one brother, and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of the service at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, on Saturday.
Funeral services for Lucy Zank will be held on Saturday at 12 noon, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. The Reverend Howard Ott will officiate. Interment will follow in the Zoar Cemetery, Town of Rosendale. A memorial has been established for the Cancer Foundation.
