Luella Acord, age 88, of Ripon, passed away October 13, 2003, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born June 5, 1915, in Fond du Lac Co., a daughter to Henry and Anna (Witt) Page. Luella received her education in Ripon, and was a graduate of Ripon High School. On September 13, 1948, she married Robert Harley Acord and they made their home in Fond du Lac prior to moving to Ripon. She had been an inspector at Infant Socks in Fond du Lac and later an inspector at Speed Queen, Ripon. Mrs. Acord was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and the Priscilla Circle. She was a past member of Salem United Methodist Church of Fond du Lac where she belonged to the circle and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Marthalee Page of Sussex, formerly of Ripon; 2 grandsons, Randy (Pam) Page of Sussex and Jeffery Page of Slinger; 2 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Shannon; 2 sisters, Joyce Kahl and Emilie Siegmann and 1 brother, Glenn (Lois) Page, all of Ripon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1997; son, Roger Page in 1996; 5 brothers; and 6 sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2003, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon with Reverend David A. Busker officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. A memorial has been established in her name.
