Luella Louis Brownlea, age 100 years and 9 months, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Markesan Resident Home with family by her side.
She was born December 28, 1921, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Robert and Ella (Jahns) Stollfuss. Luella graduated from Ripon High School. In 1946, she married Gerald Warren until their divorce in 1966. In 1974, Luella married William Brownlea and they were married until his passing in 2009. She worked various jobs throughout her life. Luella enjoyed gardening and sewing doll clothes as well as her own. She was a good cook and baker and loved murder mystery parties.
Survivors include her son, Keith Warren; daughter Tamara (Terry) Liptow; five grandchildren, April, Pam, Tracy, Josh and Spencer; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and daughters-in-law, Vali Warren and Kathy Warren. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Luella was preceded in death by her two husbands, Gerald Warren and William Brownlea; two sons, Larry and Spencer Warren; granddaughter, Brenda Liptow; daughter-in-law, Kate Warren and one sister and eleven brothers.
Per Luella’s wishes there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon, WI.
