Luella M. Krentz, 92, of Ripon, WI, died Friday, October 21, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
Luella was born June 13, 1902, in the Town of Mackford, Green Lake County, the daughter of Amil and Emma Lau Werth. She was baptized at the Fairwater Lutheran Church and was confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Markesan. She was educated in Markesan. On September 26, 1923, she married Edward G. Krentz and he passed away on November 28, 1974. Luella was an assembly worker at Speed Queen. She lived in the Ripon area most of her life and was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Emily (John) Widlake of Ripon; two grandsons, Tom and Bill Widlake; five great-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Krentz will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will be in the Fairwater Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established in her name for Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
